Mirza Abdulhossein Khan known as “Jelveh”, is one of the scholars of the Naseri era. He was a good-natured and sweet-talker that has written a few poems. Jelveh’s style was as he mostly talked about philosophy and wisdom through humor.

Sometimes, he would isolate himself and not talk to anyone that it seemed as if he was a stranger to the living world. All of sudden, after a few days he would become present in gatherings with a smile on his face and would say: “finally the issue was resolved!” Once a student asked him: “what was this difficult issue that deprived us from your presence for these days?”

Jelveh smiled and replied: “all this time I was thinking that is a “Morad (teacher) is more stupid or the “Morid (student)?! At last I realized that apparently in the field of stupidity, Morad wins over the Morid. Because the Morid as he thinks the Morad has something to offer, bows in front of him, but the Morad who knows he doesn’t have anything to offer, still continues to brag and exaggerate and thinks he is a man of greatness!”.
