One of the monuments that has always attracted the attention of domestic and international tourists is the “Monar Jonban”. Two 17-meter high minarets that have been shaking for more than 700 years. Monar Jonban is one of Isfahan’s strange monuments. A mansion and tomb made of plaster and bricks, a tomb in the “Karladan Marbin” village, that today is located very close to the city.
This building has a Ivan that on both sides of the Ivan, two high minarets are built that when they are shaken, they start moving. More interesting is that when one of the minarets shakes, the other one shakes as well; without any damages occurring. Nobody knows the secret behind this strange monument. Some say that it is because of the greatness of the Sheikh who is buried in that tomb. Others say that this is because of the spell on these minarets and that they are spellbound. Whatever it is, we hope this 700-year old shaking of these minarets stays forever.
