At the request of Zell-e Soltan from Naser al-Din Shah, the first school in its new form was established in the Hasht Behesht Mansion in Isfahan.
Following this request, a group of high-ranking academic staff were sent from Tehran to Isfahan.
The members included Mirza Ali Khan Sartip, known as ‘Nazem-ol-Olum,’ a graduate of the school of Saint-Cyr in France; Mirza Ali-Akbar Khan Sartip and his brother Mirza Hasan Khan Sarhang, both graduated in military teachings from Dar ul-Funun.
In the presence of the aforementioned academic staff in Isfahan, the first state school was established and inaugurated by the management and supervision of Mirza Ali Khan Nazem ol-Olum in the Hasht Behesht Palace in Isfahan in 1880 AD.
