European tourists mentioned Chaharbagh School as Madar Shah School in their travelogues, but this title can be seen nowhere else, whether in the school’s inscriptions, or in the official and unofficial documents, or even in the news and anecdotes circulated about the school.
Instead, it is everywhere written by the name of Shah Sultan Hossein himself.
Yet, even the name of the construction steward, Agha Kamal Khajeh, can be seen in the documents.
This school has one hundred habitable chambers that most of them have a wide porch in front.
Once a stream of water passed through the courtyard, and several platforms were built in there, which provided a suitable atmosphere for recreation.
It is said that Shah Sultan Hossein had been studying at one of these chambers for a while.
As most historians confirm, perhaps if he hadn’t got to power, the magnificent Safavid dynasty wouldn’t have overthrown, and the inherent talents of this interesting character wouldn’t have been wasted as well.
