History says that the Seljuk Turks laid siege to Shah-Dej Castle around Isfahan.
When the pressures escalated, and there was no hope for the success of the Isma’ilis and their leader, Ahmed Bin Attash, his wife, clad in the finest and most magnificent clothes and jewellery, threw herself down from the top of the castle in order not to be captured by the besiegers!
