By the request of Zell-e Soltan from Naser al-Din Shah, the first school of the new form was established in the Hasht Behesht Mansion in Isfahan. Following this request, high-ranking academic staffs was sent from Tehran to Isfahan. This staffs included Mirza Ali Khan Sartip, known as ‘Nazem ul-Ulum’ -one of the graduates of the school of Saint-Cyr in France- Mirza Aliakbar Khan Sartip and his brother Mirza Hasan Khan Sarhang -both educated in military teachings from the Dar ul-Funun.
In the presence of this academic staff in Isfahan, the first state school was established and inaugurated by the management and supervision of Mirza Ali Khan Nazem ul-Ulum in the Hasht Behesht Palace in Isfahan in 1880.
