Mohammad Taher Wahid, in the book `Abbas-nameh` complied by Mohammad Taher Vahid Qazvini in the 11th century Ah , has been written a detailed description of the building of Hassan Abad Khaju bridge.
After completing of the bridge construction, Shah Abbas ii made Maghsood Beyk e sofre chi bashi, responsible for decorating of the bridge with light and also showering it with flowers, and then each of local emirs were in charge of decorating of each room in the bridge, and middle of springs as heart in body and meaning in words decorated with lights on behalf of Shah. He wrote: a dam was built on the river so that the pond fountain was about 3 meters high, the gold inlaid canopies were from beginning to the end of the bridge and wire strings for hanging lantern and chandeliers were wired in different designs.
Kermani and Qaeni carpets were widespread. And in every chambers handsome youth, youth from Eram Abbas Abad, fair Indians youth and also beautiful tall Armenians were seen. The majesty (shadow of god) relaxed in the eastern building of the bridge until dawn, each of emirs and Shah`minions and also his companions relaxed in different cellers. Mowlana Mashhadi said an oasis on the occasion of the opening of the bridge.
Some couplets of it, are as follow: With the king`s decree/ the magician master/ built a bridge on Zayande rood/ the water of the river, is high in spring time/ it`s waterfall rises up to the sky/ built a new bridge on the sea/ put it`s bindings on the earth components/ with the decree of the king of seven countries/ the bridge was built as tall as the sky/he wants flowers showering of the bridge/ and his face became beautiful because of the decoration of the bridge with light.
